Manufacturing and industry leaders from around the world will be at Pittsburg State University on April 6-7 for the 2017 Global Manufacturing Summit, co-hosted by the Kansas Department of Commerce.

“The Global Manufacturing Summit will allow manufacturing leaders to gather and exchange ideas,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Antonio Soave. “These experts will have the opportunity to network with one another and discuss modern issues and innovative and practical solutions for the future of manufacturing.”

Shawn Naccarato, executive director of PSU’s Center for Business and Innovation Development (CIBD), said the university is both honored and excited to partner with the Department of Commerce to host the summit.

“This type of event falls directly in line with our mission to promote innovation, manufacturing and technology. We look forward to hearing from industry experts from around the world, as we look for new ways to continue the momentum of our technology and manufacturing economy.”
